This is the moment a parkour runner faced instant karma after he damaged a UNESCO World Heritage Site building in Italy during a rooftop jump.A parkour runner was filmed jumping from one roof to another in a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Matera, Italy'Matera should not be used as a parkour park, that stone could have been there when America was discovered or even before.'Mr Tommassini asked: 'How dare you? Parkour group damages historic site in Matera, Italy - The Washington Post

Team Phat’s stunt in Matera ended with a stone falling off a historic site and the jumper injuring himself. It comes as scrutiny of traveler behavior increases worldwide. In Matera, the traceurs — the name of those who practice parkour, which consists of jumping, running, climbing and more to travel across structures — recorded themselves performing a stunt on a building and causing a protruding stone to fall off.A clip of the stunt, which has been viewed 2.4 million times since it was posted on Instagram two weeks ago, sparked angry reactions online, with many users commenting that parkour should be practiced with more care for the surrounding environment. But Matera recently attracted attention of a different kind, after a London-based parkour group performed stunts there — and damaged a historic building in the process.“Even if the spots are crazy Matera should not be used as a parkour park, that stone could have been there before the discovery of America or even earlier,” wrote one commenter, who said he is Italian and practices parkour.

How Heat Works in Deathbound

Heat is a central mechanic for the caster characters in Deathbound. So, let's go over exactly how it works & how to manage it. This Decay can also be enhanced by certain equipped Artefacts, Rings, Level Upgrades, and Talents. And that's the core of how Heat works in Deathbound, it's a resource by which the games' mages cast their spells so that they aren't able to attack any enemy from afar for as long as they want. Now, let's go over how exactly Heat works for the three Essences you'll gather in-game that utilize this resource. We've already gone over (for the most part) how Tehkri interacts with the Heat system, but what about Mamdile Ogate and even Olivia Heinz? There are quite a few items in-game that interact with the Heat System, either by buffing the damage done at different levels of Heat or by making it easier for Heat to Decay, and this makes up the 'core' of a mage build in Deathbound. Whereas melee builds work when building around damage, defenses, or even Attack Weight, mage builds really only seem to be built around either Spell Power or Heat Decay.Understanding this system and figuring out how to utilize it is a big part of using these Essences in Deathbound, and thankfully the system is pretty simple overall. However, let's go over the Heat system in its entirety so that anyone hopping into Deathbound who doesn't have much experience with similar systems will be able to instantly comprehend how Heat works.

Explore the latest discussions related to this domain I'm so confused as to so many art and things on my twitter and social media feeds are all filled with this "parkour civilization" minecraft thing? What exactly is a parkour civilization? Why are people comparing it to works such as the Odyssey and Hunger Games? One thing I don't see discussed much is how in many of the installments, we see characters performing amazing parkour before they've become assassins. It's so effortless to climb stuff for Ezio, Connor, Edward, Arno, Bayek etc. before they're even anybody remotely special in the game's world.Part of the problem with running away is what if your attacker is faster than you or there’s something in your way to stop you. Even stopping to open a door can give your attacker enough time to catch you. Parkour can solve part of this, assuming you’re not in a hallway.Again in Mirage, you can see some intentionality here and there, but without a proper diagonal movement, everything feels very unidirectional, and with the clunkiness of the parkour, missing one step means starting over.

Parkour - Wikipedia

International parkour organizations include the World Freerunning and Parkour Federation, established in 2007, who have worked with MTV to produce parkour-related shows. Parkour (French: [paʁkuʁ]) is an athletic training discipline or sport in which practitioners (called traceurs) attempt to get from one point to another in the fastest and most efficient way possible, without assisting equipment and often while performing feats of acrobatics. With roots in military obstacle course training and martial arts, parkour includes flipping, running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, plyometrics, rolling, and quadrupedal movement—whatever is suitable for a given situation. Parkour is an activity that can be practiced alone or with others, and is usually carried out in urban spaces, though it can be done anywhere.Although a traceur may perform a flip as well as other aesthetic acrobatic movements, these are not essential to the discipline. Rather, they are central to freerunning, a discipline derived from parkour but emphasising artistry rather than efficiency.Parkour was established by David Belle in the 1980s, and it was initially called l'art du déplacement; however the name "le parcours" had already been given to the activity by 1989. The discipline was popularised in the 1990s and 2000s through films, documentaries, video games, and advertisements.

Instead, these are just a handful of the awestruck responses to a nearly two-hour saga titled “Minecraft but I survive in PARKOUR CIVILIZATION [FULL MOVIE],” typically shortened to Parkour Civilization by those who like to think of it as a feature film. It is the work of a professional Minecraft content creator who goes by Evbo. And yes, Parkour Civilization does take place on a map created within the popular sandbox building game, with a very important caveat: literally everything in this iteration of Minecraft, from work to money to food to survival itself, is predicated on the ability to make cool jumps. While it would be unfair to spoil the conspiracy that unravels, it should suffice to say that Evbo faces all kinds of vertiginous dangers, from deathtraps in the “Parkour Temple” to a stint in the diabolically cruel “Parkour Prison.” The mounting suspense as he makes progressively harder death-defying leap is undeniable — and just one more reason that fans have made the case that Parkour Civilization counts as a bona fide independent film. A work of gonzo outsider art, to be sure, but a film nonetheless.YouTuber Evbo's surreal saga of video game world where you can only survive by doing cool jumps has dazzled millions of viewers

What we now all know as “Parkour” with a “k” had its origins in a training program for French Special Forces known as “Parcours du combattant”, or “The Path of the Warrior.” It was David Belle, a French dude, son of a Parcours Warrior and the “inventor” of Parkour, who changed the “c” to a “k” and, along with his comrades, the Yamakazi, began the worldwide movement you are now officially a part of and which also includes the phenomenon known as Freerunning (confused yet?A basic repertoire of moves developed over the years, like the “tic-tac”, the “kong vault” and the “gap jump” that make Parkour immediately recognizable to most people who see it, even if they don’t know what it’s called! So what do we here at the WFPF believe Parkour (and Freerunning) to be? Haha! You’re not going to get us on that one! I will tell you what we know, though, and that is that Parkour, fundamentally, is a philosophy, and a way a life. It’s a way of looking at any environment and believing in your heart that there is no obstacle in life that cannot be overcome.According to the strictest definition, Parkour is the act of moving from point “a” to point “b” using the obstacles in your path to increase your efficiency. Sounds like a fun game, right?
